Salus Alpe Adria provides patients with treatments for skin health and beauty, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of dermatological and venereal diseases.
The visit dermatological is the evaluation of the patient's whole body skin and any associated symptoms. It is used to diagnose pigmented skin diseases, allergic skin diseases and viral skin diseases.
La videodermatoscopy is a non-invasive method of observing the skin in epiluminescence and archiving the acquired images. A digital video camera is used to magnify and evaluate the deeper structures of the skin that are not visible to the naked eye. The videodermatoscopy has established itself as the fundamental non-invasive test for the differential diagnosis between a mole and a melanoma.
For skin neoformation means any alteration on the surface of the skin. Benign or malignant in nature. Some examples of benign skin lesions of essentially aesthetic interest are: nevi, cysts, fibromas, lipomas, seborrhoeic keratoses, angiomas and some skin tumours. In the presence of a skin neoformation, it is recommended to undergo an examination by a dermatologist and/or plastic surgeon in order to diagnose its nature (benign or malignant) and then choose the best treatment (periodic monitoring of the neoformation, surgical removal or laser treatment).
La diathermocoagulation - also known as electrocoagulation - is a special technique used in dermatology to remove small portions of epidermal tissue in order to treat and resolve certain types of skin diseases and disorders. In dermatology, this technique is used for the treatment and/or removal of:
- Warts of various types
- Pendulous fibromas
- In the
- Some types of star angiomas
- Ruby angiomas
